Galvanized Steel Coils

A galvanized steel coil is a continuous steel strip coated with zinc, usually through a hot-dip galvanizing process. The zinc layer protects the underlying steel through barrier and sacrificial corrosion protection.

Galvanized steel is widely used for roofing, wall panels, fences, ducts, appliances, automotive components and roll-formed sections. It suits applications that require affordable corrosion resistance and good formability.

DX51D is an EN grade of continuously hot-dip coated steel intended mainly for general forming and profiling. In the designation DX51D+Z, “+Z” indicates a zinc coating. Buyers should ask galvanized steel coil suppliers to confirm the standard, coating mass, thickness and mechanical requirements.

SGCC is a commercial-quality hot-dip galvanized steel grade specified under JIS G 3302. It is commonly used for general forming, roofing, cladding and appliance components. Reliable galvanized steel coil manufacturers should confirm the JIS edition, zinc-coating designation and dimensional tolerances before production.
